This is an unusual layered Stained glass piece, Confetti Art glass and swirled clear glass create the backdrop for this lovely creature layered on top. There has always been a fascination with hummingbird – small, fast, colorful, lovely and mysterious as they hover with their wings in a blur.

As the light changes, so does the piece – each stained glass piece takes on a different persona as the light changes.

Each glass piece is hand cut, ground to fit perfectly, copper foiled, soldered, finished with black patina and waxed for shine and protection (like your car). I solder the backside as carefully as the front as it is often viewed from both sides. This piece has a zinc frame for strength. Loops for hanging and a chain.

The finished glass piece is approx. 11″ tall x 10″ wide. With the stand it is 15″ tall x 11″ wide. The cast metal stand comes with the piece.

This piece comes gift boxed with instructions on how to care for your stained glass.
