Hummingbirds have a long history of folklore and symbolism in native cultures. … In Native American culture, hummingbirds are seen as healers and bringers of love, good luck and joy. In Central America, they are a sign of love and will bring love to the person who spots them.
In their seemingly carefree and happy flight, they remind us to live in the moment and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Also, because they often seem to appear out of nowhere, they remind us that joy is unpredictable and can often be just around the corner.

This beautiful handmade stained glass Hummingbird bird is made of many colors of art glass. The wings are iridescent green, wispy purple and pale blue. The tail iridescent green and pale blue. The body is irridescent green, orange, purple with a red throat. The hummingbird comes with a hook to hang from, a suction cup for your window, and care and cleaning directions.

(I have one in stock, and can recreate as many as you like.) (1 week shipping time)

These are hand crafted by Pamela Merritt Kramer. Each piece of glass is hand cut, then ground to fit, the edges of the glass are then carefully wrapped with copper foil. The pieces are then soldered together and patinaed black. The piece is then cleaned and waxed to a beautiful shine that resists finger prints and dust.

The piece is 7 1/2″ from tail to beak, and 7″ tall.

Each piece would be unique as each handmade piece will have variations.

Each piece is carefully packaged, and insured upon shipment.
